The CEI is recruiting a Project Manager!


Contract: 12 months (Feb 2021 – Feb 2022)

Hours: 28 hours per week, flexible work pattern

Salary: £26,000 – 28,000 pro-rata, depending on experience

Based: Currently home-based working due to covid-19, with travel throughout East Ayrshire

We are recruiting a Project Manager to the team. Working with a range of partners, volunteers and local communities you will manage the delivery of the CEI. You will implement our agreed environmental and community projects as part of the Coalfield Communities Landscape Partnership  and also develop new ones.

You will be well organised and an excellent communicator, with experience of project and budget management. You will be responsible for managing CEI budgets and developing the CEI work programme.

You will work with the CEI Project Officer, local people and our partners to deliver environmental projects in the East Ayrshire Coalfield area. The CEI welcomes applications from candidates from a range of backgrounds. You must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom and be able to travel by yourself, safely, to remote locations in different areas of East Ayrshire. A full description of the role can be found:
