Wildlife Garden Volunteer

The Wildlife Garden Volunteer will support the CEI with a variety of tasks, including weeding, cutting, planting, path maintenance, habitat creation and litter clearance.

Where:

New Cumnock Community Wildlife Garden

When:

Approximately one session per month.

Duration:

Ongoing

Requirements:

You must be able to work in a team and follow direction, in particular complying with any health and safety requirements. Previous experience of wildlife gardening is an advantage but is not required and full training and equipment will be provided as required. You must be willing to work outdoors, potentially in unfavourable weather conditions, and not be afraid to muck in and get a bit dirty!

Reward:

You will have the opportunity to gain skills and practical experience in carrying out a number of different tasks, often with the guidance of expert mentors, while supporting and learning about wildlife gardening. You will be reimbursed for travel and other out-of-pocket expenses.
