Nature Network Path Patrol at New Cumnock
20th February 2019 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Join the CEI team (Daisy and Scott) on Wednesday 20th February to kick-start this year’s volunteer activities with a Path Patrol at New Cumnock.
We’ll be checking some of the shorter paths around New Cumnock for winter damage, identifying over-grown areas and sections that might need repair work. We’ll also be replacing some of the missing way-marker discs (so shouldn’t be too strenuous a day).
Hopefully the weather will behave and we’ll be able to record plenty of wildlife during the day too. Fingers crossed for some early – emerged bumblebee queens! A few out in Ayrshire already!
We’ll meet at the New Cumnock carpark at 10 am and should be finished before 3pm. There may be a lift available en route from Kilmarnock.
Please bring sturdy shoes or boots, waterproofs (just incase), warm clothes, and a packed lunch and drink. We’ll treat you to some cake and tea/coffee too! Hurrah!
For more information contact Scott on scott.shanks@ea-cei.org.uk or 07766185987.
Feel free to share to anyone you think would be interested in coming along!
