RSPB Airds Moss is used by both Black and Red Grouse. One of the threats to these birds is colliding with fences. Many of the older fences at Airds Moss are of a design that makes them not very obvious to grouse. We will be working with our partners RSPB Scotland to add grouse markers to fencing whilst also removing any Sitka spruce saplings from the bog so come and join in this important work and enjoy the peace of this beautiful landscape.
