Rivers are a UK Biodiversity Action Plan priority habitat. The dynamic shingle habitat along the banks of the river Ayr is home to lots of interesting and rare plants and invertebrates which in turn provides important feeding ground for birds. We’ll be joining forces with the RSPB to survey this habitat on Airds Moss reserve. No experience is necessary as all training will be provided.
