Come for a walk along the beautiful Afton Dam and learn about the weird wet-loving plants that live there from Bryophyte recorder Rory Whytock. Mosses and Liverworts make up a large part of our vegetation and are one of our most ancient groups of plants which make them not only fascinating but really important for understanding the natural environment. This will be a fun, relaxed and interesting walk for anyone who enjoys the environment and is keen to learn more. No experience is necessary!
