Make The Adder Count Survey (MTAC) is done in spring when Adders begin to emerge from their hibernation sites to bask. This lying out period makes them far easier to count and record and once the sites are located this survey can be continued year after year. This will be our second year to make a ‘count’ of adders at hibernation sites already identified on the reserve. Would you like to get involved? All training will be provided.
